If you’ve read Big Blonde Hair, my original website, for awhile you know that I’m an avid sunglasses collector (What? It totally counts as a hobby). So a few weeks back when I did some digging to ID’s Kyle Richards purple sunnies on #RHOBH (See post here) I was lead  a whole new world of shades—Sicky’s World.  And I’m super excited to announce that I’m a new Brand Ambassador for Sicky Sunglasses, so I can give you the deets on their styles and why I love them.

On top of the fact that Sicky Sunglasses have been spotted on my girl’s Gigi Hadid and J Lo (okay, they are my girls in my head), I love the brands Cali-cool styling that includes bold takes on color and unique takes on trendy frames. Whether you’re looking for something on trend or something that stands out from the others in your collection, there’s something fun to try.  The brand is based in Malibu, and that style definitely resonates throughout the line.

I opted for the S11 ‘s in Orangewood because they are so different from drawer full of aviators and oversized, square sunnies, and I totally love them. It’s fun having a little color that pops on my traditionally black and neutral wardrobe, and I love the shape because it’s normally not one I wear. I opted for the S11’s, as opposed to Kyle’s S6’s, because the frames are a bit larger (52mm vs 54mm) and my sunglasses go as big as 69mm so I didn’t want to go too small—mostly because I have a massive head that shrinks even the largest sunnies;-). Plus, the orangewood color is a departure from my norm but not totally out of the realm of what I’d wear.

Check out the full collection at SickysWorld.com and feel free to comment with any questions about my style or any others! You can get the scoop on the rest of my laid-back look below.
